Community Involvement
To help fufill the order of 10 Million Canada masks for the Canadian Government during the COVID-19 pandemic, Lake City was happy to provide masks to the Cold Lake Food Bank, Dr. Margaret Savage Crisis Centre, Lakeland FASD and the Cold Lake John Howard Society. Thank you to GM Canada for producing and providing our communities with masks to keep us safe.
Another successful Mega Run in the books! We were a proud Diamond Sponsor of this widely popular community event that supports vital needs in our local healthcare system. As in past events, we were happy to see our employees take part in the fun!
Lake City GM donated a trunk organizer of goodies as well as presented a cheque to Club President Tim Sparks for the Cruisers Annual Car Show. The show was a huge success, and we were glad to be a part of it.

Lake City Motors partnered with Stockings for Seniors and the Cold Lake Minor Hockey team to hand out stockings to seniors throughout Cold Lake. The boys were able to shop for special items, stuff the stockings and deliver them to the seniors. The team submitted the good deed to the Chevrolet Good Deeds Cups challenge! It was beautiful to see how when you give with your heart there is no space between the ages.

It is hard not to get into the Christmas spirit when Santa comes to visit all of Lake City's good boys and girls! Such a fun afternoon. It is so wonderful to see all the excitement and smiles from the little ones seeing Santa and opening their gifts! Merry Christmas and thank you to all our staff for your hard work and dedication throughout the year.
The annual Margaret Savage Crisis Centre "Walk a Mile in her Shoes" took place today and they picked Lake City to start the walk. It was great to see such a wonderful turn out of men dressed in their fanciest high heels and walking a mile to the Energy Centre! Our Cold Lake community is the BEST!
Lake City was happy to support Cold Lake's Forge Records Inc on their 1st Annual Community Unity Fund Raiser. With live music, silent auction, 50/50 draw, BBQ, and balloons, it was a great event for the family.
Our annual Tailgate event is always so much fun! This year we had our event just in time for the Labour Day Classic Football game.Congratulations to our 6 lucky winners!!! 4 tickets to the Edmonton Eskimo vs Calgary Stampeders game PLUS a hotel stay in Edmonton. With 2 sets of YUK YUK dinner and show in Cold Lake, this was one fun weekend!

Lake City was happy to donate some goodies from our Parts Department for the 18th Annual Show & Shine weekend held by the Cold Lake Cruisers. This is always a fun event with a BIG turn out!With 3 days for the event, you could start on Main street for the annual pancake breakfast, followed by the poker rally that finished at Beantrees Café, and then wrapping up with the Silent Auction.
Plus, plenty of beautiful vintage CARS, CARS, CARS!!!

It's always a great day when the Service Manager and the Part's Manager buy the dealership cookies for a good cause. The Cold Lake Fire Rescue team and Tim Horton's came together to raise money for local charities within Cold Lake. Buy a cookie and the money goes to help local people in need. Great idea and the cookies were yummy too!Thanks to everyone who participated!!!

This will be their 20th Anniversary for this event. Sounds like a fun night!

BUICK DRIVE FOR YOUR STUDENTS
Our 2016 Buick Drive for Your Student was a smashing success!!! We partnered with the Cold Lake Energy Centre to host the event. Buick donated $20 for every test drive! Our goal was 500 test drives to raise $10,000. The sun was out, and the people of Cold Lake did not disappoint us! We had the test drives going on, with a BBQ, Car Wash, Tim Horton's coffee and Tim Bits. The Cheerleaders and K-Rock kept us all entertained. We missed our goal by a little bit but raised almost $8000 in 7 hours!!! So AWESOME!!!
Thank you to all the volunteers who helped make this event possible and successful. There were many parents from Cold Lake Elementary School and Cold Lake High School who took time out of there weekend to support this event. Along with school and dealership staff. We couldn't have pulled any of this off without you! Thank you EVERYONE!!!!
You know you live in an amazing city when people from all over show up for your retirement BBQ. We are sad to see Wayne Dosch leave the Lake City family to start his retirement, but he will leave knowing that he meant a lot to everyone he worked with. The community of Cold Lake showed up to wish Wayne well, with lots of laughs and stories about the 'good old days'! Thank you to everyone who came out to say goodbye to Wayne as he begins the new adventure of retirement! And thank you Wayne for so many years of dedication and commitment to the Tercier family. You will be missed.
